A Message From The President, Shawn McCullough
I am Shawn McCullough, a 6th Generation McCullough
descendant from the Robert Branch of the Family Tree. I am the son of Emanuel
McCullough, and Beatrice Kennerly. I am the grandson of James Isaac 'Boy Rob'
McCullough and Alberta Butler. I am the great grandson of Robert 'Rob' McCullough, and
his 1st wife, Carrie Nash. I am the great great grandson of the 'Old Man' Isaac
McCullough (1825-1916), and his 1st wife, Jane Davis McCullough. I am the great, great,
great grandson of Ransom McCullough (born 1795) and Mary Eliza Sullivan McCullough.
My wife, Jacqueline, and I, are very excited about working with the 14 Branches of the Family Tree for our McCullough Reunion to be held here in Greenville, S.C. August 10-13, 2023. This will NOT be your typical family reunion. Please view our general reunion agenda which includes family events, self-help and faith-based classes, gospel choirs, family banquet dinner, business vendor tables for family members and guest, and FUN with the Friday Night Barbecue featuring live music from the live DJ and local sensation, "Night Affair Band", shopping, spade and bingo tournaments, golf, shopping, talent show contest, dance contest, activities for the kids, etc. Our goal is to make sure that there is something for everyone to enjoy throughout the event. If you are a small business or you have products or services that you want to sell at the event, please register for a vendor table. We are expected a lot of family members and friends to attend, so this would be a great opportunity to have a great time and sell your goods and services.
I took on this assignment as I wanted to serve to be apart of keeping our heritage alive and helping to move it forward to the next generation of family members. The goal is for everyone to leave the event more educated, relaxed, and having more of an appreciation of the family we have. While quite large, this is an opportunity for us to connect and stay connected and continue to build upon what our forefathers and mothers have accomplished through God's unbelievable grace and mercy!
We are expecting a lot of family members and friends to attend, so this would be a great opportunity to have a great time and sell your goods and services.
